2026 Summer CNS Preschool Program​​​

Community Nursery School’s preschool summer program provides an experience devoted to the exploration of engaging materials in our beautiful outdoor setting. The days include free exploration, small group work, art and sensory activities, water-play, stories, music, and time for snack and lunch.
​​
This summer's theme will center around a celebration of our love for storytelling, books, and illustrations. Each week, this summer's theme will guide curiosity while giving children the freedom to follow their interests. Our warm and experienced teachers create a joyful environment where magic is inspired by the everyday stories all around us.

Summer CNS 2026 Preschool Weeks
CNS Family Week: June 29 - July 2 (open to currently enrolled and incoming CNS children)
Week 1: July 6 - July 9 (open to all families)
Week 2: July 13 - July 16 (open to all families)
Week 3: July 20 - July 23 (open to all families)
Week 4: July 27 - July 30 (open to all families)

This Preschool Program is geared towards children who are 3 years old by June 30th and are eligible to enter preschool in the upcoming school year. Each week contains a mixed age group of 3-5 year old preschool children. Enrollment will not exceed a ratio of 1 teacher to 8 children as well as additional teenage student interns and a program administrator.​​
​
Space will be based on availability following internal registration and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Children who are new to the program are required to register for a minimum of two weeks and are strongly encouraged to register for consecutive weeks to aid in the child's transition into the program.
​
Registration forms will be emailed to interested families beginning Monday, March 16th at 10:00am.

2026 Summer CNS Intern Program​​​
​
Our volunteer program is for high school students who will be enrolled during the 2026-2027 school year.
If you are interested in applying, please send your contact information to admin@cnslex.org.
​
Intern applications and additional details will be provided to those who inquire in early May.
All high school interns are required to attend a mandatory open house session on Wednesday, June 3rd.​
