Our Afternoon Programs are designed for children who are ready for a longer day.  Children bring their lunches from home and come together from the three morning classrooms to form the afternoon group. Starting in the 2024 - 2025 school year, we will offer extended programming five days per week:12-1 PM (Lunch Bunch), or 12-3 PM (Extended Day Program) as seasonal,

~12 week block session sign-ups (fall, winter, spring).

Lunch Bunch:  Lunch time is followed by a relaxed period for interactions with friends and materials ending at 1:00 p.m.

Extended Day Program:  Children enjoy lunch and an extended time outdoors with nature-based curriculum. Various explorations, activities, and investigations are offered in our studio space. Dismissal is at 3:00 p.m.

The afternoon programs have their own teachers, working with other CNS staff. The ratio is no more than six children to one teacher.
